Así es como hice una ‘corona’ de flores, este podría ser el primer DIY en el blog y me gusta que sea sobre una cosa que, en sentido práctico, no sirve para nada.

This is the way I made a flowers crown, this could be the first DIY on my blog and I like it because it’s about a thing that, in a practical sense, is useless.
Esto me recuerda al discurso de Paul Auster cuando ganó el premio Príncipe de Asturias, podéis leerlo entero en este link (el original en inglés aquí); tengo la hoja de periódico con su discurso guardada (y guardo muy pocas) porque me pareció sublime, no soy nada mitómana y quizá Auster podría ser mi excepción, pero no, lo digo con uso de razón.

This reminds me Paul Auster’s speech when he won Principe de Asturias prize, you can read it on this link, I have the press cutting with his speech (and I cut very few) because I think it’s sublime, I am not mythomaniac and perhaps could be my exception, but no, I talk about his work objectively.
Su explicación de ¿para qué sirve el arte? es brillante y probablemente así responda a la necesidad de muchos por dedicarse a trabajos que, de manera práctica, no sirven para nada más allá de sentir y hacer sentir a los demás. Por eso yo adoro la interpretación y el arte en todas sus vertientes.
Eso explica también este afán por hacer cosas que simplemente son bonitas y ‘sirven’ para que todo se vea más bello; o para pasar el rato y acabar oliendo a lavanda.
Como él dice: ‘No sé por qué me dedico a esto. Si lo supiera, probablemente no tendría necesidad de hacerlo’, lo que responde a la manida pregunta de ‘por qué tengo un blog o por qué me gusta el cine o el teatro’, parecido a cuando te enamoras, que simplemente lo sabes (pero prefiero no meterme en derroteros amorosos)
Sin más dilación, así es como hice una corona de lavanda que es inútil pero muy bonita.

I agree and maybe it only serves to feel and make others feel, this is why I love acting and art in all its aspects.
