I really like wearing transparent shirts because they can really spice up a look, they are also a great go-to piece if you really want to make a pair of shorts seem more sophisticated or dressed up. Today’s look is the perfect example of how flower print and a more subtle top can really work. I wore neutral accessories like the mini handbag and the black sandals to enable the other pieces to stand out. Bye

I am a massive fan of white for summer because it is hugely complimentary and like black, it is both wearable and enables me to play around with a look. Sometimes I get an overpowering desire to dress in black from head to toe, although I always end up adding a touch of colour because I don’t really see myself in total black. In order to overcome my reluctance I decided to wear my ice coloured bomber jacket, which also has subtle shades of pink and reminds me of the 60s and the fashion in Grease. I am back to my usual pastel shades and this Gaats shirt drives me crazy because it mixes three very subtle, complimentary colours (soft pink, ice and taupe) and both the texture and shape are to die for. I chose to wear this lovey creation with one of my midi skirts and my nude Pertini by b a r t a b a c sandals. I sometimes like taking photos late in the day to be able to capture this marvellous sunset. Today’s look is very comfortable, I have had this dress for ages and I am so glad that I decided to cut it on impulse and wear it with my new desert boots, matching bag and manicure in these beautiful surroundings and light. I love this look, it is one of my faves, and I am not even wearing shorts!! This pleated skirt (which I also have in pink, I will show it to you soon), is very special because it has a lot of movement, it’s very light and even though it is slightly transparent it is not too outrageous… The thing is I haven’t really been wearing maxi skirts lately, but these lovely pieces have managed to change my mind.
