Today we are at Dai Dinh, Vietnam’s biggest pagoda, locates in te Gia Sim mountains and occupies a vast 500 hectares and is incredible in all its grandosity. We got there on our rented bike, having wondered around the area, and stumbling upon breathtaking lakes. We went to Tam Coc, where we navigated through the Ngo Dong river on oar boats (sampan), on the very same day. The river is located among vast rice fields, rock formations and caves (its amazing to navigate 1km into the cave and having to duck because the stalactites are so close to you that they may hit you on the head. So here are the photos, I hope that you enjoy this «ciber» b a r t a b a c trip.
Hoy visitamos la pagoda más grande de Vietnam, Dai Dinh, que está en las montañas de Gia Sim y que tiene nada menos que 500 hectáreas, es realmente impresionante. Fuimos con nuestra motito alquilada recorriendo las carreteras de la zona y encontrándonos con lagos maravillosos por el camino, hasta que llegamos a esta pagoda que además de inmensa es preciosa y está perfectamente cuidada. Ese mismo día aprovechamos para visitar Tam Coc, donde recorrimos en barcos de remos (sampan) el rio Ngo Dong, que transcurre entre arrozales, formaciones de rocas y cuevas (es una pasada, vas navegando con la barquita por el interior de cuevas de hasta 1 km con estalactitas que casi te rozan la cabeza y te encuentras con templitos en medio del lago!). I am wearing lots of new stuff today and as you can see I managed to find this fab oversized perfecto, as mentioned here. I love these type of jackets so I am sure that I will get a lot of wear out of it. This one in particular is very interesting because it has a straight cut and is longer than all the other ones that I own. I am wearing it with my printed skinnies, matching snood and my suede Mustang bag, which goes with everything and is extremely light (this has become very important lately because I normally wear really heavy bags!!). Do you like the look? Big kiss (there is a giveaway today but it is only valid for Spain, sorry…)
Hoy estoy de estreno, como véis encontré la perfecto oversize que os comentaba aqui. Como me encantan este tipo de cazadoras sé que le sacaré mucho partido, además tiene un aire nuevo por su corte recto y por ser más larga que el resto que tengo. Me la puse con pitillos con print, cuello a tono y mi bolsito de ante de Mustang que queda genial con todo y no pesa nada (es que últimamente no paro de llevar bolsos pesados, por eso ahora valoro mucho si no pesan!!). ¿Os gusta? The Vietnam photos continue, this time I am in a little town near Hanoi (the capital), called Ninh Binh. We went there to take part in lake and pagoda excursions. We rented a motorbike (we were accident free this time..) and we drove around the whole area. At night we returned to the hotel, which was completely out of this world, showered and got all glammed up- hence this rather dressed up look. Seguimos en Vietnam, esta vez estoy en un pueblo cerca de Hanoi (la capital) llamado Ninh Binh. Allí fuimos para hacer excursiones a lagos impresionantes con cuevas y a visitar pagodas. Alquilamos una moto (en esta ocasión no nos pasó nada…..), y nos recorrimos toda la zona de aquí para allá. Por las noches aprovechábamos para volver al hotel que era impresionante con cabañita y todo, duchita y ponernos guapos, por eso posteo look más arreglado para cambiar del rollo turista. Mañana toca SORTEO y luego seguimos conociendo Vietnam, os he traído muchas más fotos del pais!! BESOS
I’ve been dying to show this! Here are the first set of photos from Vietnam, you can see that I am in Ho Chi Minh City, the old Saigon. It is completely different to the other areas that we visited (you will see in due course), it is very chaotic, invaded by motorbikes and a mixture of old and new. I loved getting lost in its streets, enjoyed its crazy atmosphere and the great cuisine. I hope that you like this route , my dip in the sea and the Bitxeco Tower views. Stay tuned for another exotic Vietnamese post tomorrow!!
¡Qué ganas tenía! Aquí tenéis las primeras fotos de Vietnam, estoy en Ho Chi Minh City que es la antigua Saigón. No tiene nada que ver con las otras zonas que visitamos, es muuuy caótica, está invadida por las motos y mezcla la modernidad con la tradición, ya lo veréis en las fotos. Me encantó perderme por sus calles, disfrutar de su ambiente de locos y de la maravillosa comida vietnamita. Espero que os guste este recorrido y mi bañito con vistas a la Torre Bitxeco. Mañana toca post más exótico de otra zona de Vietnam!!

I can finally say that I am 100% energised after my recent trip to Asia (those of you who follow me on Instagram will already know that I had a small motorbike accident, but rest assured because I am OK). I have come back with fully charged batteries, with a lot of things to tell you and ecstatic about starting this new year, which I hope will be a fan-tas-tic one for all of you.
2012 was an incredible year for me and I hope that this 2013 will bring a lot of surprises and a lot of happiness, I have a lot of projects and I am already feeling very impatient about my new b a r t a b a c collection for Pertini, which as you already know has been pushed back slightly but it will not be long now. I never expected that any of this would happen when I first started the blog, every year is better than the previous one and that is the most important thing. I feel very happy and supported by all of you and I am very grateful for all your visits and your daily following, it is a real pleasure! I would also like to thank all the brands that I collaborated with last year. Ya puedo decir que estoy al 100% tras mi escapada a Asia y recuperada (los que me seguís por Instagram ya sabéis que tuvimos un incidente con una moto alquilada allí, pero nada grave y ya estoy casi bien del todo). Vengo con un montón de ganas, con muchas cosas que contaros y contenta de empezar un nuevo año que os deseo sea ma-ra-vi-llo-so.
Para mi el 2012 ha sido increíble y espero que este 2013 me traiga sorpresas y muuucha felicidad, tengo muchos proyectos y ya estoy impaciente con mi nueva cole de Pertini by b a r t a b a c, que como habéis visto la hemos retrasado, pero ahora si que queda poquito. Cuando abri el blog no me esperaba que me pasase todo esto, cada año es mas increíble que el anterior y lo más importante, me siento muy realizada y apoyada por todos vosotros, por eso aprovecho para agradeceros de nuevo todas vuestras visitas y vuestro apoyo diario, es un gusto, de verdad, no me creo ésto de tener más de 17 millones de visitas!. Y hoy, como siempre, vengo con un nuevo look, ésta vez de este finde. Elegí esta chaqueta de punto con aire de blazer de Peace&Love vía Buylevard (que por cierto están de Rebajas!), y camisa y collar con rollo étnico, que es un estilo que me apetece mucho últimamente, ¿os gusta?
