It is just simply awsome how a typical sailor -striped tee has the power of being always fasionable. Dare to pull it out whatever the season of the year is because it is always trendy. A sailor tee goes well with boyfriend or skinny jeans, to create a rock style pair it with denim shorts and wellies or with a mini-skirt and high-heels for a romantic look. If you are more classic match it with white cropped pants or leggings. And how I did here don’t hesitate and play trying different styles and pieces!

Es increíble como una camiseta a rayas tiene el poder de estar siempre ‘in’. Es chic y clásica asi que no lo dudes y llévala todo el año. Va bien con jeans en general(boyfriend o skinny) pero si lo tuyo es mas un estilo rockero combínala con shorts y botas de agua ‘a lo Kate Moss’. Si eres más bien romántica apúntate una minifalda y tacones altos y si no te atreves con ninguno de estos dos estilos apuesta por lo clásico que nunca falla. Una cosa más, juega y combina con diferentes estilos y piezas como hice yo aquí!

Lately I have received some e-mails asking me about what kind of dress I would wear for a cocktail party. Well for me is pretty much easier to show it by posting rather than writing you back. I hope it answers all your questions.

Cocktail dresses are suitable for wearing to events such as a semi-formal or other formal occasion. they come in a variety of colors, shapes, and lengths, but one of the most popular choices is the well-known "LBD." But it doesn’t necessarily mean you need to wear a black one, you can chose from a range variety of colors like for instance the color I’ve got in here. Before chosing a cocktail dress is very important to make sure what sort of event you are attending to ( a charity, party, anniversary, etc) so that you can look for a suitable lenght. As you know it varies and some of them stop just above the knee (like mine) while others end around or from above the ankle. The material ( most popular choices are satin and silk) and the shoes that you select can also make the difference to become your outfit an important focal point.

*Important: It should be a cut simple and quite often short unless a dress code is required.

Últimamente he recibido algunos e-mails preguntándome sobre que vestido llevaría para un cóctel. Como me resulta más fácil mostrarlo que escribiros he decidido hacer un post esperando con ello responder a vuestras preguntas.

Tanto si se trata de una ocasión formal como semi-formal puedes encontrar una amplia variedad de colores, formas y distintos largos. El más popular es el socorrido "LBD" pero en mi caso prefiero algo más atrevido como un vestido de lentejuelas. Sólo una cosa, antes de elegir un vestido de cóctel es muy importante que te asegures previamente que clase de evento vas a acudir (una obra de caridad, una fiesta, un aniversario, etc) para que puedas buscar una longitud adecuada (por encima de la rodilla o bien por el tobillo). El tejido ( satén,seda, lentejuelas.. ) y los zapatos que elijas son los puntos que debes potenciar.

* Importante: Para ciertos eventos debes tener en cuenta el "código de vestimenta"
