Good morning guys! It has been a long time since I last posted, I was wondering whether to inform you about some big news or just let it go… in the end I decided to do this post and write you about what’s going on as for many years I have shared with you lots of things through Themidniteblues.
This should be my last post. I have been thinking during the last months about continuing with my blogging activity and obviously finally I have decided (with a bitter sweet feeling) it’s time for me to stop.
Most of you do not know that blogging is not my principal activity, is just one of many activities I am involved in…. I work in a completely different field..as an export manager for a pharmaceutical company in Milan so you can imagine how different my real work is from blogging!!! I started working on this field at the same time I started my blog with my sister. At the beginning I could handle everything as I also had my sister helping me and the blog wast just taking off. However over time my sister enganged in other projects, I had lot’s of work, I was travelling everyday more and more, and could not keep up with the blog. I also started a new personal project Chic Tricks, an online shop with especial event gadgets, and in the end I was dealing with some many things at a time and all by myself.
In a few weeks I will be moving back to my hometown in Barcelona, and I decided this could be the right time to start again, and redirect my professional priorities. I will be starting a very important project in Spain always on the pharmaceutical field, which will require all my attencion and energies, so that’s why I need to be really concentrated.
Moreover, as I work so much I decided that I have to squeeze my free time to the maximum. Normally I use my free time to take pics of my outfits, to prepare new posts, to work on Chic Tricks and handle all my orders.. so in the end I have no time to be with my love ones, to just do normal things like go to the gym, to a concert, or simply relax! So from now on, I want to maximize my personal time and really invest on things that keep me away from work.
During these five years Themidniteblues has brought me lots of satisfactions. I have known lots of lovely people, many brands which have supported me all the way long and have become friends, I have participated in incredible projects; from working on the radio to walk on the catwalk for important designers, and last but not least I have felt the love of my readers, all of you who have appreciated what I have done and have shared your love with me!

Buenos días chic@s! Ha pasado mucho tiempo desde la última vez que hice un post, pero he estado pensando si daros la gran noticia o dejarlo pasar… al final como veis he decidido escribir este post y explicaros lo que está pasando ya que desde hace años comparto a través de Themidniteblues un montón de cosas.
Este es mi último post. Estos últimos meses he estado pensando en si continuar con mi blog o no y, obviamente, por fin he decidido (con una sensación agridulce) que es el momento de decir adiós.
La mayoría de vosotros no sabéis que el blog no es mi actividad principal, es sólo una de las muchas actividades en las que estoy involucrada …. Yo trabajo en un campo completamente diferente… Soy export manager de una empresa farmacéutica de Milán.. es un trabajo que no tiene nada nada que ver con el blog!!! Comencé a trabajar en este campo, al mismo tiempo que empecé mi blog con mi hermana. Al principio no me resultaba duro trabajar en ambas cosas ya que además estaba mi hermana y el blog acababa de despegar. Sin embargo con el tiempo mi hermana se involucró en otros proyectos, yo tenia cada día más trabajo y cada día viajaba más y más, y no podía estar al día con el blog. También hace unos meses lancé mi tienda online Chic Tricks donde vendo todos los gadgets necesarios para eventos especiales, asi que como podéis ver al final estaba llevando personalmente muchisimas cosas a la vez.
En unas pocas semanas volveré a vivir a Barcelona y por ello decidí que este podría ser el momento adecuado para empezar desde “cero”, y redirigir mis prioridades profesionales. En España voy a empezar un proyecto muy importante (siempre en el campo farmacéutico), lo que requerirá toda mi atención y energía, así que por eso tengo que estar muy concentrada.
Por otra parte, ya que trabajo tanto he decidido que tengo que exprimir mi tiempo libre al máximo. Normalmente en mi tiempo libre hago fotos de mis outfits, preparo nuevos posts, trabajo en mi web Chic Tricks y envio todos los pedidos .. así que al final no tengo tiempo para estar con mi familia o amigos, o ni si quiera para hacer cosas normales como ir al gimnasio, a un concierto, o simplemente relajarme! Así que de ahora en adelante, quiero maximizar mi tiempo libre y realmente invertir en cosas que me hagan desconectar del trabajo.
Durante estos cinco años Themidniteblues me ha dado un montón de satisfacciones. He conocido a un montón de gente encantadora, muchas marcas que me han apoyado durante todo el camino y que se han convertido en amigos, he participado en proyectos increíbles; desde trabajar en la radio a desfilar para diseñadores importantes, y por último pero no menos importante he sentido el calor de mis lectores, que habéis apreciado todo lo que he hecho y compartido vuestro cariño conmigo!
