The 31-year-old actress debuted her new snazzy bangs while showing off her svelte figure in two different dresses.
The Orange Is The New Black star put on a leggy display as she visited the SiriusXM studios, wearing a tight white sleeveless mini-dress with slightly ruched fabric.
She stood tall in nude peep-toe heels and kept her accessories to a bare minimum.
Laverne also appeared on Extra at their studios in Times Square, changing into an elegant black frock that accentuated her cleavage.
The dress featured a pleated bodice and a form-fitted skirt made partially with netting, as she added height with red and nude pointed-toe pumps.
Laverne and Extra host A.J. Calloway appeared to be having a ball as they hammed it up during her interview.
Meanwhile, the transgender actress has revealed that she only recently allowed herself to be happy with her so-called ‘imperfections’.
She had long craved surgery to change her facial features – but now, with a different mindset, is happy without.
‘I have never talked about the medical details of my transition, and a lot of people assume I’ve had all this surgery,’ Laverne told The Guardian.
‘Years ago, I wanted really highly invasive surgical procedures to feminise my face. All these years later, I have the money to do it, but I don’t want it.
‘I don’t want it! I’m happy that this is the face that God gave me, and it’s imperfect.’
She is sometimes affected by hateful comments, such as a recent Instagram user who encouraged her to have a nose job, but Laverne quickly bounces back.
‘My fans were like, that’s the nose African Americans have, and what’s wrong with that?’ Laverne said. ‘My fans had my back.
‘In those moments I have to look in the mirror and say, this is my black nose, and it’s gorgeous.’
