Hoy no voy a hablar de gadgets, voy a hablar sobre vestidos 😀 

Anoche me quedé despierta para ver la alfombra roja + ceremonia de la 84º edición de los Oscar. 

Que maravilla los vestidos! Con tantos vestidos & joyas, no sabía decir quienes me parecieron las "mejor vestidas" de la noche.

Habiendo dormido unas 4 horitas (creo que volveré a meterme en la cama después de colgar este post), ya tengo a mis 5 favoritas. Y todas van de blanco/blanco roto. 

 

I’m not going to be talking about gadgets today. Today has to be all about dresses 😀 

Last night I stayed up to watch the 84th edition of the Oscars + red carpet. 

With all of the beautiful dresses & diamonds, it was impossible for me to decide on who my favourites were. 

After a 4-hr sleep (I am a bit tempted to crawl back into bed as soon as this post is up), I have my list of 5 "last night’s favourites"- and they are all wearing white/cream-coloured dresses.

 

Gwyneth Paltrow

 

 

Envejece como el vino. Justo cuando crees que no puede estar más fantástica….aparece así de espectacular. Me ha encantado la elección de vestido (Tom Ford), joyas (me alegro de que no se parara con los diamantes) & maquillaje. 

 

She ages like wine. Just when you think she cannot get any hotter…she shows up looking like this. Perfect choice of a dress (by Tom Ford), jewellery (I’m happy she didn’t overdo it) & make-up. 

 

 

Rooney Mara 

 

 

 

Estoy un poco enamorada de Mara. Estaba increíble en Millenium: Los Hombres que no amaban a las Mujeres, & merecía que la reconocieran por ese papel con una nominación. Su vestido de Givenchy Couture es precioso, y de nuevo me ha encantado su sencillez a la hora de "enjoyarse". 

 

I love Ms Mara. Loved her performance in The Girl With a Dragon Tattoo & think she deserved that nomination. Her dress, by Givenchy Couture, was a risky but great choice. Her simplicity when it came to "bling" was also a win.

 

 

Octavia Spencer

 

 

"The Help" ha sido una de mis pelis favoritas del año. Me encanta que ganara el Oscar a Mejor Actriz Secundaria, y subiese al escenario asi de maravillosa a recogerlo. Vestido de Tadashi Shoji. Felicidades Octavia!

 

"The Help" is one of my favourite movies of the year. I love that she won the Oscar for best supporting Actress, & was able to pick it up looking looking as beautiful as she did. Dress by Tadashi Shoji. Congratulations Octavia!

 

 

Milla Jovovich 

 

 

Es difícil equivocarse con Ellie Saab. Estaba preciosa, y muy elegante. Me encantaron las joyas que llevaba, además de la manicura plateada. 

 

It is hard to go wrong with Ellie Saab. She looked beautiful, very elegant & very much like a Hollywood star. I loved the jewellery selection she was wearing, as well as her silver manicure. 

 

 

Jennifer Lopez

 

 

En mi opinión, esta ha sido una de las veces que más espectacular la he visto sobre una alfombra roja. Pese al pequeño incidente durante la ceremonia (el pezón de JLo ya tiene cuenta de twitter), estaba espectacular con esta creación de Zuhair Murad. 

 

This, in my opinion, has been the best I’ve seen JLo on a red carpet. Nipple accidents aside (her nipple already has a twitter account), she looked absolutely stunning in this Zuhair Murad creation.
