Trish

Florida ha hecho que me gusten los domingos, ya me queda poco para volver a odiarlos.  Hoy he salido a dar un paseo y a sacar fotos con mi hermana americana (la de la sonrisa contagiosa que veo cada muchííísimo tiempo pero con la que disfruto cada uno de los segundos que pasamos juntas). Pasamos la mañana buscando colores (cómo no), cantando, bailando… hasta conocimos a Rich, un buen hombre que desde su carrito de golf se ofreció a sacarnos una foto juntas y nos acabo invitando a un helado en mi tienda de helados favorita porque, sorprendentemente, es el negocio familiar. Me prometí a mi misma no arrepentirme por el helado. Mañana es lunes y ya puedo volver a comer bien (he aquí la motivación semanal de todo estudiante de intercambio). Florida has made me like sundays, there’s very little time left to start hating them once again. Today I went for a walk and took some pictures with my american sister (the one with the contagious smile that I see every once in a while but which who I enjoy every single second we spend together). We spent the morning looking for colors (how odd), dancing, singing… we even got to meet Rich, this nice man that, from his golf car, offered himself to take a picture of both of us together. We ended up being invited for an ice cream to my favorite ice cream shop because, to our surprise, it’s the family business. I promissed myself not to regret eating that ice cream. Tomorrow is monday so I can start with my healthy food again (there you have the typical exchange student’s weekly motivation). I hope you like the pictures and I wish you a very happy week!!
